Three Boho Style Outfits Featuring “Simply Vera”

Three Boho Style Outfits Featuring “Simply Vera”

Happy relaxing Sunday!

This upcoming week is Spring Break and I could not be any more excited. Finals for my winter trimester almost killed me so I’m excited to have a mini break to recoup and relax. With that being said this blog post is extremely exciting because about two weeks ago, a PR rep from the Vera Wang collection at Kohl’s reached out to me asking if I would like to review a few products from her “Simply Vera” line. How could anyone say no?! They sent me quite a few things and I loved all of them. Two of the shirts did not fit right but I will definitely still link them down below!

All of these pieces are extremely nice quality, so the prices are on the more expensive side of what I typically feature. Nevertheless, these pieces are definitely worth purchasing and are staple pieces every woman should have in their closet. I took a less traditional route when styling these outfits and added many boho flares and touches. When I added that touch of Boho, these outfits screamed my style. I’m always going back and forth between contemporary and boho pieces and honestly, these pieces would work for either.

My first outfit is extremely simple. This dress is a perfect t-shirt dress that is business in the front and party in the back. I love the back pleated detailing because it really adds something unique to this relatively simple dress. I styled it with a jean jacket, some mid-calf booties, and my favorite black hat.

Next, is my absolute favorite shirt I received. This shirt was so cute and girly yet I styled it in an edgier way by adding a thick leopard print choker. I stuck to very neutral colors; black, white, and brown. If there was one piece from this collection that is a must-have, it’s definitely this shirt.

The last outfit takes this simple high-quality t-shirt and dresses it up quite a bit with my faux fur coat. I’m IN LOVE with this t-shirt. It fits perfectly and I know that the quality will last a long long long time. I go through basic t-shirts every other week because usually they end up weirdly discolored or with holes in them (don’t ask me how; just a girl living her life one cheap crappy t-shirt at a time). Anyways, here is the outfit:

Finally, they were so nice to send me two of their wallets from the collection. I love both of them because they each serve a completely different purpose. I was in desperate need of a new wallet but was too cheap to buy a new one (two years with the same one was getting pretty boring). The first wallet is this mini black wallet with silver detailing. This is perfect to just throw some cash, your ID, and cards into a mini cross body. I hate using cross body bags with my wallet because its so chunky and just takes up so much space.

This last wallet is definitely going to be my new go-to. I love the color blocking and it has such a modern vibe that I LOVE.

I just want to thank Simply Vera by Vera Wang for giving me this opportunity to feature some of their new items on my blog. This post was so fun and I seriously loved every item I received (including the two shirts that unfortunately did not fit). One of those shirts is linked here and the other you can find here. I hope you all enjoyed and don’t forget to stop in at your nearest Kohl’s to find some of the items featured here today.

And don’t forget, there is only one you. No one can erase you or replace you, so embrace you.

See you next week,

Layne Marie Kingman
