Cold Weather Essential: The Winter Coat

Cold Weather Essential: The Winter Coat

Happy Sunday!

I’m not sure what has been up with this New England weather but one day I’m soaking in the 60° sunshine and the next I’m hiding from the high winds and 30° chill. With that being said, I decided to show you three different looks with three different winter coats. Two of the coats are lighter and perfect for warmer days while one of the coats is thicker and perfect for chillier days. I hope you enjoy!

The first look is this grey coat from H&M that my best friend from college got me for the holidays! I paired it with this turtle-neck sweater from Forever21, black ripped-knee jeans, black booties, and my favorite layered necklace from H&M. This coat is on the lighter side but perfect if you only plan on being outside for a few minutes. The gold-zipper detail is my favorite and gives the coat that luxury look.

This next coat is from Forever21 and I got it in the sale section for $13… yes $13. I was on the hunt for a printed coat this season and when I saw this one I instantly fell in love (with the coat and the price). The inside is lined with a thick sweatshirt material so every bit of heat gets trapped: perfect for days where you know you’ll be outside for longer than you’d like to be. I paired this jacket with my favorite  sweater from the The Limited, ripped blue jeans, and my metallic loafers I got from Primark.

Last but not least: the infamous camel coat. These coats have been so trendy and popular in the past couple of years and I finally got my hands on this one from ASOS. This is definitely something I would wear over a bunch or layers  or on a warmer day because the material is pretty light. I paired this with my striped shirt from Zara, my black ripped-knee jeans, and these grey booties. My grey booties are actually the same as my black ones in outfit one. I loved them so much I had to go back and buy the black ones as well!

How about some male fashion tips? I know women prefer to pick out the right outfit to match theirs, especially when going somewhere special…
